The news of the ranking, which is published in The Drum magazine following a public vote, comes hot on the heels of the agency boss’s inclusion in this year’s PR Week’s Power Book list.
The national recognition for the growing agency came as it prepares to enter its 5th year in business, and backs up its Outstanding Consultancy of the Year recognition at CIPR Pride Awards last November.
Commenting on coming 38th in the Power 100, Kari said: “It’s great to be gaining some recognition outside our North East heartland. We’ve had a bit of a run lately on accolades, which is superb for our awareness, but I always say it’s what our clients say about us that really matters. We’re focussed on driving clear return on investment for our customers through effective media relations, new media and brand communications.
“Our client base is growing day by day, and the variety in our portfolio from property to arts, enterprise to technology is a great pleasure to work on. The introduction of video and social media has shaken up the way our clients look at their modern communications, and we are in a great position to open their minds to new ways of reaching their audiences. It’s nice to be voted into the Power 100, but we aren’t resting on our laurels.”
O Communications employs 10 people at Woods Pottery, in the creative quarter of Ouseburn.
